"Gah!" Flour erupted on the Spaniard's face and body and curses flew across the room. "Damn churros! Damn oven! Damn flour! Dammit, dammit, dammit!" He growled, throwing the flour down and shook his head, creating a cloud of white around him. Riocard shook his fist at Tom. "How is that you can make churros better than I can?"
Tom grinned and started to rub flour off Rio. "I make them love, mi amore." His grin faltered slightly and he kissed Rio's cheek, leaving a lip-shaped pattern in the flour. "I'm in love with you."
"I know." Rio recited, used to the Alaskan's affections. He turned from Thomas and began washing his hands. "I suppose... if I'm honest..." He trailed off and turned off the water, drying his hands. "I guess..." He shifted uncomfortably and glanced towards the door, wondering if he could make it out of the house and run away before Thomas could catch him.
"What?" Thomas asked, turning Rio towards him. "What are you trying to say?" He pressed their foreheads together gently so Rio could see only him.
"That..." Rio trailed off again and swallowed the lump in his thoat. "I'm trying to tell you that I lo--"
The door flew open, and Rio squealed and pushed Tom away. His foot stepped on the flour and the package exploded, covering the room in a thick white haze. When the flour settled, an annoyed looking five year old gazed at the boys. "I needed you to open my Pepsi."
"O-oh." Rio blushed as he opened her Pepsi for her.
"Were you two about to kiss?" She asked, and make a kissy face as she hugged herself.
Thomas shrugged. "I don't know."
"NO!" Rio exclaimed, dropping the Pepsi. The bottle spewed all over the floor, mixing in with the flour. "No! We weren't! That's gross!" He shook his head violently. "HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT KISSING YOU'RE FIVE IT'S GROSS SO YOU SHOULD ERASE EVERYTHING PERVERTED FROM YOUR SWEET LITTLE MIND JADYN WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT KISSING?" He flailed, trying to back away without falling.
Jadyn raised her eyebrows slowly. "Riight," She nodded slowly and left the kitchen. "You owe me a Pepsi," she called over her shoulder.
Thomas snickered. "So.." He walked back over to Rio and placed his hands on the boy's hips. "What were you telling me?" He asked, licking flour off Rio's cheek.
"That I loathe you!" Rio punched his cheek and growled. "I really hate you sometimes." He stomped out of the kitchen, grumbling angrily in Spanish.
